We are seeking a Financial Business Analyst with a strong financial background who can independently analyze balance sheets, investments, banking data, and financial risks. The role requires deep understanding of financial statements, legal & investment documents, and the ability to support strategic and risk-based financial decisions.

Financial Analysis & Reporting
Analyze and interpret Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and Cash Flow Statements

Evaluate financial health, liquidity, solvency, and profitability

Perform trend analysis, ratio analysis, and variance analysis

Prepare management reports, dashboards, and financial summaries

Investment & Banking Analysis
Analyze investment portfolios, funding structures, and returns

Assess risk vs return for current and proposed investments

Support banking-related analysis including loans, credit lines, covenants, and interest structures

Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for data and analysis

Risk & Forecasting
Identify and assess financial risks (market, credit, liquidity, operational)

Conduct future financial risk analysis and scenario modeling

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Support strategic decision-making with data-backed insights

Legal & Compliance Understanding
Review and interpret financial and legal documents such as:

Loan agreements

Investment contracts

MoUs, term sheets, and NDAs

Ensure financial compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements

Work closely with legal and compliance teams for financial implications

Business & Stakeholder Support
Act as a bridge between finance, management, legal, and operations

Present financial insights to senior management in a clear and structured manner

Support audits, due diligence, and financial reviews

Required Educational & Professional Background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration

Professional qualifications preferred:

CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) / CPA

Strong foundation in corporate finance, investment analysis, and banking

Required Software & Technical Skills
Financial & Analytical Tools
Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros, Financial Models)

Financial modeling & forecasting tools

ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally / NetSuite – any relevant experience)

Data & Reporting Tools
Power BI / Tableau for financial dashboards and visualization

SQL (basic to intermediate) for financial data extraction

Strong knowledge of MIS reporting

Accounting & Banking Systems
Experience with accounting software (Tally, SAP FICO, QuickBooks, etc.)

Familiarity with banking portals and financial platforms

Documentation & Compliance Tools
Proficiency in MS Word & PowerPoint for reports and presentations

Ability to work with legal and financial documentation systems

Experience Required
3–8 years of experience in:

Financial analysis
